Jay-Z + Free Concert = EPIC!!!
Sweet Jesus! The God MC Jay-Z blessed Miami with a free show this past Sunday. I told you peeps to get out there and get your tickets. A lot of you didn’t head out, and missed a classic show. Like I heard most people saying walking out at the end, “This show should not have been free!“.
Full band and all, Jay performed for about an hour and a half. Classic song after classic song, with lots more to go. The place was packed with people from front to back. I had to scuffle around a bit to get a spot near the railings in the middle-right (no pics). Had a good view as Jay commanded the stage solo with a presence that only few have mastered. Memphis Bleek came out a few times to back him up, and even performed a couple of his hits. And of course, the unexpected Wyclef Jean opened up with a nice set.
I tried browsing around the interwebs for some videos of the show, and couldn’t find too many good ones. Here are a few that might show a glimpse of the energy from the concert. They are a little shaky, with overblown bass, and not too clear. Point being, get your ass some tickets next time fool!!!
Minority Report + P.S.A. Probably the deepest track off of the Kingdom Come album, Minority Report was perfect for the occasion. Bashing Bush in front of hundreds (thousands?) of Obama supporters is a good look. And of course, P.S.A., probably one of his hypest tracks. THat shit rocked the place!!!!

Jigga What. Its amazing how many classic hits Jay has. This is one of those forgotten jems that he seems to pull out at all concerts. The drumming wasn’t as hot as the Unplugged version with Questlove, but still was dope.

Like I said, not much too look at, but at least its something. For a longer video which includes the Wyclef portion of the show, check out this video shot by Godfree from GamerTagRadio.com. And for some nice photos, check out Dro at The305.com.
HOLLA!!!!
