Big club veteran DJ Danny Daze has won Miami New Times prestigious best club DJ award again.
Check the story here. If I’m not mistaken, he took the crown back in 2007 as well. DJ Induce won it last year.
Not sure how many other people have won it multiple times, but it is a great triumph nonetheless. Danny Daze has definitely been putting in a lot of work over the years, and it seems as he plays at parties across the country more often then he does here in Miami.
But as the New Times noted, Daze “really shines during rare downtown sets at the Vagabond and White Room. Freed from the shackles of the Beach’s Top 40 inclination, Daze delivers raw and energetic sets that are drastically different.”
Cheers to the man. Go see him spin if you haven’t already.
