Now let me school you on some things….. Whoever produced this track sampled Galt MacDermot’s “Coffee Cold” as shown below. Doesn’t seem like they took it straight from the song, but replayed it for the beat.
You might remember this also being used by Handsome Boy Modeling School for their song “The Truth”. Such a classic.
And the God, Primo, also used this same sample, but chopped it up completely different. You can still tell it’s the same sample. But damn, he flipped it dope!!!
