Miami painter Kiki Valdes recently released a little piece in which he was interviewed and talked about his painting process.
As noted in the comments of the video, one of the more interesting things said by Kiki is: “After I paint something, I don’t want anything to do with it. It’s therapy. Once it’s done, it’s done. You experienced all these feelings and you let these feelings out, then its time to move on…People like us,…like artists, Just don’t stop. We keep doing it, and then it becomes apart of us.”
