This is actually a mix I should have put out 4 months ago around August. Had it all laid out and ready to record but got a new busy schedule and even got sick. Even after I recorded it I held on to it for weeks. So most of these songs are old to me, but I still enjoy the mix.

This is a straight up disco house / nu-Disco type mix. Lots off French filter shit and some dope beats. Threw a few classic Disco jams in there as well.

The rules called for a 20 minute mix. That is all.  The winner got a chance to open up for Hot Chip in Canada. This was my interpretation of what they might have wanted.

Did some quick mixing to try showing some of my range. It was a difficult task as most my mixes are an hour at least. However, I feel it flows pretty well for what it is.

This is a pretty great pop song with great vocals and a real smooth beat. But I absolutely LOVE this video. Something about the whole sequence that just captures the mood of everything about the song. AMAZING!

Not really sure where to classify this, but this type of sound really started gaining some ground last year with the popularity of people like Major Lazer, Afrojack, Rico Tubbs, etc. I’ve always been a fan of dancehall and even smoother reggae, so a lot of this uptempo dancehall shit is right up my alley. I threw in a few more pop friendly riddims in in the mix to keep it fresh.
