One of my favorite tracks of the moment is Janet Jackson’s newest single, “Make Me“. The beat is so dope! It has that hard, pop electro sound needed for the clubs, but still maintains some sort of classic disco vibe to it. Here is the video for the single:

This beat is a nice interpolation of Booka Shade & MANDY’s “Body Language”. So smooth.

Here is an interesting remix put together by Bird Peterson. He takes the original sample used by Major Lazer for their “Pon De Floor” song.

The original sample used was “Here Come The Girls” by Ernie K. Doe. The song by itself is so proper. But Bird Peterson infuses the two songs together by adding the vocal effects that Major Lazer used on their track. It comes out crazy dope!!

Such a dope cover! This riddim is simplistic, but has a dope drum pattern which makes it pop. The vocals go perfect over this.

LMFAO puts out quality remixes, and this is one of them. This shit is so dope to me. They give the song a completely different feel, making it more hype than it already is. This can work in different types of crowds. So essential.
